Sapphire's Story

EXPERIENCED OWNER: Nervous dog, sensitive of personal space.

Hello, everyone! My name is Sapphire. I came to TIRR Rescue in 2014 as a little pup.

I was sitting in a shelter when a nice person sent a picture of me to TIRR Rescue. They thought I was pretty awesome looking, with my bright blue eyes and pointy ears. They picked me up and brought me to the ranch as soon as they could.

Now, I'm a pretty anxious dog. I like hanging out with my pack and playing with a couple of the dogs, but I get nervous and slightly withdrawn around strangers. I will need a family who will respect that and have the patience to work with me on being more confident.

If you really want to see me open up, though, you should take me jogging. I love to jog! The fastest way to become my friend is to take me for a run. I don't even care where we go running, just so long as we're moving. Speaking of which, we have plenty of space for a nice volunteer or future adopter to take me jogging around the ranch!

I’m sweet, beautiful girl who just wants my own family, yard, and doghouse. If you think you might be my forever family, be sure to contact my rescue people!

~~~~
PERSONALITY:
Sapphire is a sweet, fun girl. She is energetic and loves to go for a run. She will do anything to please her people. Sapphire can get scared when she is uncomfortable, so she will need a strong, confident leader she can trust.
~~~~

To learn more about Sapphire, please visit tirrrescue.org/sapphire.
