Saoirse Pit Bull Terrier Mix Warrenville, IL

Saoirse (sheer-sha) is a 4-month-old pittie mix who came to us as a stray through Chicago Animal Control. Since being in foster care, she is learning the dog life from her foster fur brother and fur sister, who she absolutely loves to play with. She is a very energetic puppy who loves to play tug with her favorite rope toys and fetch with tennis balls. Once all her puppy energy is exerted, she loves to snuggle with her humans, including her young foster sister (13) and brother (16). She has not met children younger than that, but if they are respectful and parents understand that she is still a puppy and has puppy behaviors, we think she would do well as a family dog.

Saoirse is also a great travel companion in the car. She loves to look out windows and watch the world go by. She is working hard on potty training and now that the weather is a little warmer, it’s gotten a bit easier and she’s getting the hang of it. She is crate trained and, despite her energy and enthusiasm for life, she is happy to nap in her crate when necessary. Her athleticism and smarts might make her a great candidate for agility or other fun training opportunities. The sky’s the limit with this beauty!
