Please contact Maralee at 406-544-6309 for information. <br/><br/>Sansa is a 2 year old beautiful spayed mixed breed Akita and we think Australian shepherd. <br/><br/>She is super smart and knows lots of tricks. She sits, lays, high fives and stands on her hind feet and spins when we get home from pretty much anywhere. She is very loving and loyal. She gets very attached to her people. She loves to be greeted and pet in the morning when we get up and at night before bed. She is alert and curious. She loves to nap at your feet or at least close by if you are sitting watching tv. <br/><br/>We rescued her when she was a puppy from a very sad environment where she was in a pile of dogs and in a very messy muddy yard and obviously neglected, especially when it came to food. We also suspect she may have been hit. She hides and saves everything - food, toys, etc. She is not a fan of new people but does adjust to them if it’s someone who visits regularly. <br/><br/>We think she would be happiest in a home with one person or a couple, no small children, and no other pets (we have cats and she has never been aggressive towards them at all). She would be extra happy to be able spend lots of time with her family. <br/><br/>She has never bitten or hurt anyone but has recently become aggressive with our 2 year old female basset hound, which is apparently common for Akitas in a female to female dog relationship especially.
