Sandy came into rescue from a commercial breeding operation. She has had no real experience being a house pet, but she is learning about the good life quickly!
Sandy is incredibly sweet and tolerant of humans poking and prodding her. She wags her tail and loves being held in your arms.

We estimate her to be about 5 years old. Sandy has been suffering with dry eye for years and has lost the sight in one eye. She will require daily eye drops for the rest of her life to help save the sight in her other eye and make her eyes less painful. She has had all of her veterinary needs taken care of including a dental cleaning and she is ready for a loving home of her own.
We prefer adult homes for these under socialized dogs since small children can be too much for them as they adjust. Older, calm children would probably be fine.
We like to adopt to people who have someone home most of the time, have secure areas for the dog to explore - either a large lanai or a fenced yard. The dogs are using pee pads indoors and are able to go out into a fenced area during the day whenever they like. They have not been trained to walk on a leash.
We prefer to adopt within the state of Florida but may consider someone a little farther away if it is a perfect home. The adoption fee is $550. To be considered to adopt her please call Anna 239-841-2382
