Meet Sandy <br/>Sandy is a 3-year-old Long Hair Chihuahua (with what we suspect may be a little Pomeranian mixed in for extra fluff and charm!).<br/>This sweet little princess has had a lot of change in her short life. Passed from person to person, Sandy never really had someone she could call her own. By the time she finally arrived at a groomer in far southwest Oklahoma, her coat was severely matted, she was covered in fleas, and her toenails had grown so long she could barely walk.<br/>Thankfully, one compassionate groomer knew Sandy deserved better.<br/>With the help of three amazing volunteers who donated their time and hearts to transport her across Oklahoma, Sandy safely made her way to Fairy Dogmother Rescue and is now beginning her journey toward the life she has always deserved.<br/>What we have learned about Sandy is simple: she is pure love.<br/> She is potty trained<br/> She does not need to be crated<br/> She loves other dogs<br/> She has never met a stranger<br/> She is happy to spend her day curled up beside her person<br/> She is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly sweet<br/>Sandy's greatest wish is not a fancy bed or a basket full of toys. She simply wants a human of her very own to love.<br/>She is scheduled for her veterinary care next week and will be fully vetted before adoption.
