Hello everyone, my name is Sandra but my foster mom calls me Sandra Dee or just Sandy. I am a 7-8 month old little lady who is looking for my furever home. I am a rambunctious pup who loves to play and be outside.
I do love other dogs and want to play with them. The hamster my foster family has is interesting, but I leave it alone. My foster in TX had a cat and I did well with it too. I love long walks around the neighborhood and going to the pond; so many interesting things to see and play with. I think leaves are really cool and they make this awesome crunch sound. I like to play with toys and sometimes socks that I find mysteriously. This morning I found a red vine licorice? (Don't ask ) but mom said I couldn't have it. Not gonna lie, I was a bit sad when she took it away from me but I got over it in 2 seconds.
Anywhoo, back on subject. I am learning to sleep in my kennel and am doing very well. Foster mom says I’m so close to being potty trained. I am also learning to sit and working on stay but that one is a bit harder for me. I am treat motivated and eager to learn new things.
I am a little scared at times of things and sometimes loudness startles me. I love to snuggle and be close to my humans. I just want to be loved all the time and am so excited to be here. Belly rubs are the best thing ever and I love soft plushy toys. However, if left alone I might nibble through that toy easily.
I have two 2-legged siblings that I like to play with, they are 10 and 15. My 4-legged sibling is sometimes grumpy because he is an old man, but I don't let that bother me. I have no problem being alone and playing on the floor, but I will follow you everywhere you go. I just love to be around humans so much.
