Rubble's Story

Rubble has been through a bit of a rough patch, but now that he's feeling so much better, his adorable personality is shining through! When he first arrived, he was dealing with itchy skin, lots of hair loss, and terribly irritated eyes. It took some time for him to feel good again, but this sweet boy is making up for lost time by enjoying all the good things life has to offer.

Rubble's absolute favorite thing is working for treats. And when we say he enjoys his treats, we mean he REALLY enjoys them! He savors every bite with enthusiastic lip-smacking that lets everyone know just how delicious he thinks they are. He also loves getting pets and has a big, happy smile that is hard to resist.

Rubble isn't a high-energy guy. He's perfectly happy to hang around the house with his person, enjoy some attention, and take life at a comfortable pace. But don't let his laid-back nature fool you-he recently went on a Doggy Day Out and spent hours hiking in the park with his volunteer friend. He enjoyed every minute of his adventure and was very well behaved.

Rubble would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, easygoing dog who enjoys being with his person, getting lots of affection, and, of course, working for treats. We think this happy boy is ready to leave his rough start behind and enjoy the good life he deserves.

If you are interested in learning more about Rubble, please call 812-988-7362 or submit an adoption application at the link below.
