Sandia's Story

Hi! I am called Sandia, named after the beautiful Sandia Mountains. I ended up at the shelter with my brother (Manzano) as an orphaned pup after my mom rejected us. Our owner got us by on whole milk, but asked for assistance as we got older.

We are only 5 weeks old (as of May 12th), so we are too young to get vaccines or be adopted. We are working on transitioning from milk to kibble and learning about all kinds of new things: different flooring surfaces, sounds, smells, and how to move our bodies!

We get our first set of shots at 6 weeks of age and will be adoptable at 8 weeks (the first week of June)! You can apply for me now though!!!!

My adoption fee is $100 and includes a voucher to get me fixed at Western Trails Vet in Edgewood, NM once I am at least 12 weeks old.
