Samwell Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Thompson's Station, TN

Samwell is an approximately 4 year old Cavi boy. Samwell came to us after his human mom passed and left him in need of finding a new home. Samwell is a typical Cavi in that he follows his human around the home and wants to be with that human, in the lap is always preferred! He tends to have some separation anxiety when he cannot be with his human, especially if he knows you are in the house and he can't see you. For this reason, we are looking for a home where his human is around more than gone. His tendancy to 'wail' for his human means he isn't a good fit for apartment or shared living type situations. Samwell enjoys his leash walks and because he needs to lose a few pounds, exercise will be important for him. He does fine with other dogs but isn't a 'player' and prefers time with his human over dog time. He rides well in the car and enjoys his outside time. Samwell is a Cavi through and through and preference will be for those that understand the breed and are aware of the craving for companionship of this breed as well as the potential health issue the breed is prone to later in life.

Samwell is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
