Sampson's Story

Hello from handsome Sampson!

Sampson is a friendly and playful five year old Shetland Sheepdog. He is very people friendly, but Sampson especially loves HIS people. He would thrive best in a home where he can be with his family 24-7. Sampson loves to follow you everywhere no matter the adventure! He would do best in an active home with people who can take him on daily walks (he does great on a leash) and play in a fenced yard perhaps with older children.

Sampson is great with other dogs, but would thrive best in a home with larger dogs (40lbs+) like him, or to be the only dog in a home. He should not be in a home with cats or any farm animals of any kind. After a long day playing, Sampson's favorite activity is to cuddle and sleep close to his favorite person.

Sampson is very smart and already house trained but does not do well being kenneled. He's so smart that you need to have a trash that locks, he's very curious about what's inside. Sampson is highly treat motivated and a little overweight, but with some activity and diet monitoring he will be slimmed down and ready for summer in no time.

Sampson amazing, and can't wait to meet his forever people!"
