Our Mission
Maine Sheltie Rescue is a not-for-profit group comprised of volunteers who give their time, ability and homes to help place homeless Shelties where they will be cared for and loved. Our main goals are the protection of Shelties already here, the prevention of further over-breeding and the education of the public about the Sheltie breed.
We service Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Adoption Policy
MSR never knows when a Sheltie will come our into Rescue as we get them from owner surrenders or from the Shelter. You are welcome to download, fill out and send in (email to MaineSheltieRescue@gmail.com) our application which is found on our website:

With a completed application, we will know what you are looking for. We, as well, will have your contact information so if a Sheltie comes in that looks like a match, we can contact you. It is also a good way for us to get to know you. If you have any questions, please do ask!
