Sammie's Story
Sammie (3 years old) is an adorable, slightly gremlin-esque pug mix who’s ready to find her forever home! Her foster family is still getting to know her, but so far she’s shown a love for the simple joys in life—being brushed, enjoying tasty treats, and playing with her toys. She does prefer to keep her toys to herself, though, so she may need some guidance or a calm environment when other dogs are around.

She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to things like crates and harnesses, but her foster family has already been helping her make progress. With a little patience and consistency, she’s likely to keep improving.

When it comes to affection, Sammie is all in—she absolutely loves to snuggle and would happily share your bed if you let her! She can be a bit skittish in new situations and may run if she gets loose, so a fenced yard is important for her safety while she continues to build confidence. As she settles into a loving home, you’ll likely see her blossom.

If you’re interested in giving Sammie the secure, cozy life she deserves, fill out an application here:
https://www.midmichiganpugclub.org/adoption-application
Questions or already have an application on file?
