Meet Sammie

This sweet girl is Sammie. She was on the run for a bit and some nice community members got another group with trapping equipment to come in and catch her. We thought she would need a lot of socialization but she has really come out of her shell and she is SUPER sweet!!! She is definitely a herding dog and will need someone who know the breed. She LOVES to play ball and will bring it back to you! She will need lots of exercise and/or stimulation. We had thought that maybe she need to be the only dog in the home but after taking her to dog daycare that has shown otherwise, she loves other dogs. We do feel that she would be best in a home with a fenced in yard as she was running for some time and not being able to catch her. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.
