Meet Sam
Sam the Man here. I’m a sweet boy, mellow and low key. I’m about 6 years old and weigh 30-32 pounds since I’m a little bigger than some other beagles. I had spent most of my life in a kennel, but I've adjusted very will to being a house dog, and I can say I really like it! I get along well with other dogs, and enjoy running around in the yard with them. I'm happy to laze around the house, but I also like walks. I do pretty well on the leash if I do say so, but my nose distracts me at times - hey, I'm a beagle! I am crate-trained, ride well in a car, and I've learned to sit for my dinner. I'm also getting the hang of toys and am learning how to play with them. I am pretty well behaved overall, or so I've been told. I have to stay on a leash or in a fenced in yard - those underground fences won't work for me. Can I come and live with you?
