His vetting is current and he is healthy, he will be 3 yrs old in February 2023. He weighs approx 25 lbs. <br/><br/>He is very loved, and a very sweet boy - but his family has decided he will be happier in a home that will be “all about Sam”! <br/><br/>Sam is loyal and snuggly, but also active and rambunctious! In his current home with young children, there is just too much going on. Though he’s neutered, he needs to be watched so he doesn’t mark in new places. Growing up during COVID, he has not had a lot of exposure to different people and dogs, and may have some anxiety with meeting new humans and pets. He has lived peacefully with a senior dog, a puppy, and playful cat - but meeting NEW animals and people needs manner work. He can get overstimulated and jump/chase young children who run away vs staying calm. <br/><br/>He really enjoys playing fetch and going for walks, and would probably love a home that takes him for hikes.
