This long-legged little lady has the cutest prance when she walks and is ready to bring some fun, cuddles, and plenty of personality into her forever home.<br/><br/>Salsa is a dog-friendly girl who absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs! She does wonderfully with both big and small dogs, including a 4-pound Shih Tzu and a 40-pound Heeler. She enjoys playing with her furry friends and has shown that she can happily coexist with dogs of different sizes and energy levels. She does best with slow, thoughtful introductions so everyone has a chance to get comfortable.<br/><br/>Salsa does have some boundaries when it comes to her personal space. For example, if she is snuggled up on her person's lap, she may growl if another dog approaches. She is perfectly happy to play and hang out with the other dogs, but her people will need to respect her cues and help her feel secure when she is enjoying one-on-one cuddle time.<br/><br/>And speaking of cuddles... Salsa LOVES them! She is the kind of dog who will happily play when you're ready to play, but when it's time to relax, she's just as happy sleeping next to you or curled up right on top of you. She loves couch time, soft toys, and being close to her people.<br/><br/>Salsa is crate trained, and her house training is currently a work in progress. She has also been a wonderful little adventure buddy! She has gone hiking, handled being around strangers, and has even enjoyed getting pets from people she meets along the way.
