She was covered in filth, emaciated, and mourning the loss of her precious babies. Heartbreakingly, her previous owner only reached out to surrender one of her sick puppies, not realizing the dire situation Sally was in. Each of her pups was lost, one by one, to starvation before they finally surrendered Sally to us. When we laid eyes on her, we understood why her babies couldn't survive. Sally, barely more than a puppy herself, was on the brink of starvation, unable to produce milk to nourish her litter.
But fast forward to today, and Sally is the epitome of resilience and joy. You wouldn't guess she has a traumatic past by looking at her now. She's been with us for some time, learning to be the best girl she can be and searching for her forever home.
Sally is a unique blend of playful energy and irresistible charm. While she prefers to be the center of attention as the only dog in the house, with proper acclimation, she could potentially share her home with another furry friend. Just a heads up, though - she's not a fan of cats at all.
