Salema

Salema is a 2-3 year old Shih Tzu Mix weighing about 14lbs. Salema's history is pretty sad, but we are determined that the rest of her life is going to be filled with love safety. Salema gave birth to a few beautiful babies. Unfortunately that meant her family didn't want her anymore, and didn't want the responsibility of taking her of her babies either. The pups ended up passing away due to lack of care and support. Salema was on her own trying to survive and to keep her babies alive. Once all the pups passed away she was surrendered to the shelter. The shelter reached out to us because she was struggling after everything she had just been through. We immediately took Salema here in CO where we found her a wonderful, loving foster home for her to start the next chapter of her life. <br/><br/>Salema has been here for a little while and is ready to find a forever family of her very own. She gets along wtih all people and loves other dogs, big and small. She is still pretty young herself, so she loves playing and romping around the yard with the other dogs. She is snuggly and super loving. She is everything someone would look for in a dog.
