Sahara is proof that you can fit an impressive amount of puppy into 29 pounds. This 1-year-old Carolina mix is goofy, social, and always ready to turn an ordinary moment into an event.

Sahara is still working on the finer points of being a sophisticated grown-up dog. Leashes, manners, and the concept of "please think before you launch yourself into the next adventure" are all works in progress. Fortunately, she brings plenty of enthusiasm to her education.

She's discovering that walks are more fun when you're actually attached to the human holding the leash, and she's ready for a family who will keep helping her put all that puppy energy to good use. With consistency, patience, and some appropriately celebrated victories, Sahara has everything it takes to grow into an absolutely wonderful companion.

Social by nature and delightfully goofy, Sahara has the sort of personality that makes it difficult to stay serious around her. She may occasionally forget that she's supposed to be learning, but she has never forgotten how to have a good time.

Her name may be Sahara, but she's no desert when it comes to personality. This girl is full of life, warmth, and enough energy to keep her future family entertained.
