Sage's Story

Sage is a resilient girly, tripod girly! She came to us as an urgent medical case- with her bone sticking out of her leg due to extreme matting requiring an urgent amputation, a giant kidney stone, mammary tumors (benign), needing some dental care. Despite being tripod, she gets around swimmingly, as she had already been walking as if her leg wasn't there before. After some much needed TLC, Sage is finally feeling as good as she deserves, at a 11 years old- with lots of life left to live! She is the most radiant, spunky girl who will make her people so happy one day. Sage has lived with cats, small dogs, and large dogs, and met children. She would also thrive as the queen bee, soaking up all the love.
