Sadie (TN)'s Story

Sadie
Adoption fee: $500.00

Who’s up for a good time? Sadie, our little Shih Tzu/Poodle tarbaby, can kick things up a notch! At 1 year old, Sadie can be a blur of activity but settles down at bedtime and will cuddle close with you all night. She loves everybody and gives endless kisses!

Sadie was born with a liver shunt and had surgery last November to correct the condition. At the time she weighed 6 pounds Not only was her surgery successful, but she is a whopping 12 pounds now, a good lapful!

Sadie loves to play and will need an active playmate in her forever home. She is too energetic to be an “only” dog and will become bored easily. And a bored dog can be a destructive dog. She does like to rip up paper big time! So far she has not gone after shoes but she does do surgery on those soft toys with squeakers and loves to disembowel dog beds! I think a Kuranda bed should be in her future!

Because she is still a puppy, Sadie will not be adopted to anyone 70 or older as outlined in our Seniors for Seniors policy. She’s just full of monkey business…that’s why she’s called Sadie Monkey! Alas, she is not housetrained. But we are working on it. Sadie is monkeying around in Chattanooga for now. If you need a little excitement in your life, look no further and apply to be her family today!

Adoption fee: $500.00
