Sadie's Story

Built Like a Baby Horse, Loves Like a Labrador

Sadie looks like somebody took a chocolate Lab, stretched her legs out a little too far, and then forgot to tell her she was getting big.

She's still very much a puppy, but she's already around 40 pounds and growing into one of those beautiful, long-legged dogs who takes up a little more room than expected and somehow still believes she belongs directly beside you.

Sadie is friendly in the most immediate way possible. She doesn't need time to decide whether she likes you. She already does. Shell walk right up, hand out kisses, and act like the two of you have known each other since kindergarten.

She loves other dogs and is always ready for a good romp in the yard. Her play bows are painfully cute—front end down, long legs everywhere, whole body wiggling like she's trying to convince everyone that this is a very serious invitation. Then she's off, bouncing around the yard like a baby deer who just discovered friendship.

She loves squeaky toys, happily shares them, and seems genuinely pleased just to be included. Sadie isn't trying to run the household. She isn't looking for trouble. She's just here to play, love everybody, and occasionally fling all 40 pounds of herself onto the bed like she pays the mortgage.

And after she's had her fun, she settles.

She'll sit quietly on the deck and watch the yard. Shell curl up on a dog bed. Or, given the opportunity, shell climb into bed with her person and sleep like she's had a very long day at the office doing important puppy business.

Thats Sadie. A little goofy, a lot affectionate, and growing into the kind of dog people stop you to ask about.

She may look like a Chocolate Lab mixed with a Great Dane, but her real breed is the kind of dog who makes a house feel happier just by being in it.

+++++++

ADOPTION APPLICATION:
https://form.jotform.com/260401018308040

+++++++

Prince is currently being fostered in NH and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!

+++++++

The Truth About Rescue:

Every rescue pup is a work in progress and thats the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.

Adoption isn't about perfection; its about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they're finally home. Thats when you'll see them bloom soft and steady into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you'll realize they were never the only one being rescued.

+++++++

Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com.

Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Check out all of our adoptable pups and learn more about our rescue on our website: www.stmuttsrescue.com
