Sadie

Meet Sadie, formerly known as Lady—a beautiful 1.5-year-old, spayed Foxhound mix with a gentle heart and a quiet, playful spirit.

Sadie and her sister Missy were originally found abandoned in a remote area of Thermal. After being rescued and adopted through Rescue Lyfe, Sadie recently found herself on the streets again. Residents reported seeing her loose in La Quinta’s PGA development for approximately three weeks and reached out for help. We recognized our former rescue from their photographs and helped safely trap and recover her. She was thin when she returned, but she is now safe, resting, and doing well.

Despite everything she has been through, Sadie remains sweet and gentle. She can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, her funny, playful personality begins to shine. She enjoys the company of dogs and cats and has previously been reported as house-trained and crate-trained.

Sadie needs a patient, loving home that will give her time to settle in, build confidence, and feel secure. A securely fenced yard and careful supervision will be especially important as she adjusts.

This lovely girl has spent enough time trying to find her way. Now she deserves a family who will help her feel truly home.
