Sadie enjoys car rides, and trips to the dog park. She is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. There are not children in Sadie's foster home, but her foster family is confident that she will be great with kids. They are willing to kid test, if necessary.

Sadie is a young girl, but had experienced some challenges in her short life. She was found as a stray, had been housed in a shelter, and is suspected to have had puppies She is smart and wants to please. She thrives on praise and reassurance.

Sadie is very playful and would love to have a playmate in her new home. She is respectful of dogs who do not wish to play as often as she does, entertaining herself if no one else is in a playful mood. She does have some separation anxiety and is learning how to enjoy a life indoors. She is not destructive, but another companion in the home may help her feel at ease. Sadie also enjoys napping on the couch or at your feet. She would love to have a human who is home most of the time, has a flexible work schedule, or works from home.

Sadie's meals MUST be served in her crate or in a private room or area. Establishing a designated feeding routine and care to pick up bowls is important.

Her foster family was asked what is the funniest thing Sadie does? They answered, "She will pick up her toy and toss it in the air, and try and catch it, after playtime is over she will lay on the couch on her back, and hang her head over the edge, fall asleep and snore."
