Meet Sadie! Sadie is a cavapoo that came to us from a breeder. Her date of birth is 5/17/2024. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:<br/><br/>When Sadie first arrived this sweet girl came home matted, dirty, and scared of just about everything. She was terrified of the leash, wouldn't go down stairs, would only eat off the floor, and wasn't sure about going potty outside.<br/><br/>Look at her now! <br/><br/> Walking on a leash like a pro. No accidents in the house for days.<br/><br/> Brave enough to tackle the outside stairs (the basement stairs are still a work in progress!). Eating out of a bowl like a proper lady. Fresh from a spa day at the groomer and looking absolutely adorable.<br/><br/>Sadie is a 2-year-old 20 lbs Cavapoo with the sweetest, most loving heart. Sadie is in a home with another dog and they get along great but think she will be perfectly happy as an only dog. She seems to just care about being around her “person”. She is great with kids. She is new so things do change sometimes but right now she is happy to sit on the couch or under the foster's chair while she works. She is still nervous as only been out of a cage for 10 days. She will need a patient adopter who will understand the adjustment period.<br/><br/>Sadie is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention.
