Sadie's Story

Sadie is an adorable 5 year old yorkie mix. She was rescued from a hording house that held 40 other dogs and she never had an opportunity to learn how to dog. Meals were never regularly provided, there were no opportunities to learn about potty training, and there was NO socialization. She was left to fend for herself. As such, Sadie tends to be reactive when uncomfortable and needs a very special home. Sadie needs a quiet home with a dog savvy female owner. She will do best as an only dog. Sadie will bond with her person, but she needs some time to learn to trust. We have found that she needs about a week to adjust to a new person. When she is comfortable, Sadie is an absolute doll and is completely devoted to her person. She has a darling personality and gives the best kisses. While Sadie can walk on a leash she will not potty while walking. Therefore, she is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard. Sadie has the potential to be a wonderful companion and we are hopeful that her perfect home is out there. Sadie is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, had a dental, and microchipped. Sadies adoption fee is $350.00.
