Sadie 2's Story

“Hi, I’m Sadie... Your Future Couch Buddy and Trail Companion.”

From the heart of a brindle girl with a big smile and an even bigger heart

Well hey there, kind stranger. My name’s Sadie, and I’ve got a story to tell—one that I hope ends with me curled up next to you, sharing snacks and soaking up the good life.

I was picked up as a stray in Yuma, Arizona, just a girl out on her own, trying to find her way. Life on the streets wasn’t easy, but I kept my chin up and my tail waggin’. Lucky for me, the folks at Central Arizona Animal Rescue saw something special in me and gave me a safe place to land. Now I’m here, waiting patiently (okay, maybe not too patiently) for my forever person to walk through that gate and say, “That’s her. That’s my girl.”

Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m a brindle-coated beauty with a muscular frame and a heart full of love. I’ve got this cool tiger-stripe look going on, and when the sun hits my coat just right, I shine like desert gold. I’m not high-maintenance, and I’m not high-energy either. I’m what you might call a “go-with-the-flow” kinda gal. A daily walk? Sure. A hike through the hills? I’m game. But if you’re more of a couch potato, I’ll be right there with you, curled up and content, munching on snacks while we binge-watch whatever show you’re into.

I share my kennel with a male dog who can be a bit pushy sometimes, but I don’t let that ruffle my fur. I’m easygoing and polite, and I know how to keep the peace. I’d probably do well in a home with another dog, especially if they’re respectful and know how to share the remote.

Now, I’ll be honest—I’m strong. Like, “pull-you-down-the-sidewalk-if-you’re-not-ready” strong. I’m still learning my leash manners, and I could use a little help with that. But here’s the good news: I love treats. Like, really love treats. So if you’ve got kibble or snacks, I’ll be the most motivated student you’ve ever met. Training me with rewards will be a breeze, and I promise to give you my full attention (and maybe a few slobbery kisses) in return.

I’m already spayed, microchipped, and current on all my vaccinations, so I’m ready to go whenever you are. No loose ends, no surprises—just a sweet girl looking for a soft place to land and a human to love.

I don’t need a mansion or a fancy yard. What I need is someone who sees me for who I am—a loyal companion, a gentle soul, and a dog who’s just as happy chasing butterflies as she is chasing dreams. I want to be your shadow, your sidekick, your best friend. Whether we’re walking through the neighborhood or curled up watching the sunset, I’ll be right there, tail wagging, heart open.

So... what do you say? Are you ready to meet me? The folks here say all you gotta do is send an email to mike@caaronline.org to set up a time. I’ll be waiting, ears perked, tongue out, and heart full of hope.

Until then,

This is Sadie, signing off and dreaming of the day I get to call you mine.

Let’s make forever start today.

PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.

All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis.

Central Arizona Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation.

We are located in San Tan Valley, AZ.

If you have other dogs already, you must bring them for introduction prior to adoption.

Follow us on Facebook - www.facebook.com/CentralArizonaAnimalRescue

Follow us on Instagram -
www.instagram.com/centralarizonaanimalrescue

Follow our YouTube Channel - www.youtube.com/channel/UCp43a-ycLJ2BwsgW8hu6UVg

WE DO NOT TAKE OWNER SURRENDERS - If you are looking to surrender a dog, take them to the county animal control in the county you reside in.
