Sadie's Story

Meet Sadie - a young, snuggly sweetheart with a soft coat and an even softer heart!

At just under 2 years old and 54 pounds, Sadie is the perfect age-past the puppy chaos but still full of youthful charm. She has a gentle, loving personality and quickly wins people over with her sweet nature (and those adorable eye patches!).

Sadie is a great travel buddy. She hops happily into the car and settles in nicely, often laying down and relaxing for the ride. Whether you're heading out for errands or an adventure, she's content to come along.

On leash, Sadie does well and enjoys getting out on the trails. She may pull a little when an interesting smell catches her attention, but overall she is very manageable. Water, however, is not her thing-the creek is a definite no thanks!

She is treat motivated, takes snacks gently, and knows "sit." She enjoys a pup cup and has a playful side, happily squeaking a toy here and there. Sadie does really well in public settings-she may bark at people in a new environment at first, but she settles once she feels comfortable.

Sadie is housetrained and has wonderful manners in the home. More than anything, she loves affection-belly rubs, snuggles, and being close to her person are her favorite things. She is incredibly sweet and thrives on that connection.

If you're looking for a loving, cuddly companion with a gentle spirit and just the right amount of playfulness, Sadie might be your perfect match.

Sadie is currently being fostered by Hounds Town Greensboro-Guilford Doggie Daycare and is available for adoption. She can be adopted directly from the facility after an approved application from GCAS has been submitted to us and you've met Sadie in person.
