Hello, my name is Sable! I was found in a junkyard trying to take care of my babies. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida rescued us- we even got our very own foster home so I could raise my puppies in a safe place! Since all my pups got adopted, I've been waiting very patiently for my forever home while I went through heartworm treatment, but I have now tested negative and am so ready for my forever family to find me! I am estimated at 6 yrs old and weigh about 25lbs. I walk great on leash and even take my treats gently. I have been cat and dog friendly here at the rescue. I would be a perfect companion for someone retired or as a chill family dog. My rescue believes I am a Frenchie mix, possibly with Boston Terrier, best guess. My $250 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, heartworm test (negative), microchip and deworming. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
