Sabanera's Story

Meet Sabanera!

Sabanera is a 3-year-old, 26-pound Sato rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. She’ll be flying to New Jersey at the end of December, and we can’t wait for her to start this next chapter.

Sabanera is a fun-loving girl who really comes alive around other dogs. She loves to play and would be happiest having a doggy friend in her new home to run around with, play with, and show her the ropes. She can be playful and silly, but she can also be sweet and submissive depending on the dog she’s with.

She’ll need a family that gives her a little time to settle in and understands the importance of keeping her safe and secure while she adjusts. A quieter, less urban home would be best for her.

We think Sabanera is going to be such a fun companion once she feels at home.
