HSPC is participating in BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters adoption event! From December 1st through 15th the adoption fee is reduced to $70. Ryu is a 6-year-old Bulldog. If you love the English Bulldog traits and personality you will love this guy!! Due to his short legs and general body build he does not require a lot of exercise. But he does enjoy a good ball or squeaky toy! Ryu is very inquisitive and loves checking things out. His face is adorable, unfortunately his short muzzle makes it difficult for him to tolerate extreme cold or heat. His short legs and rather large body make it impossible for him to navigate stairs. A one level home and maybe a ramp for more than 2 steps would be best for him. A ramp comes with his adoption. Ryu is looking for a companion who will be at home most of the day. He would do well in a home with a couch potato person who doesn't mind being followed everywhere. Ryu weighs 73#, is house trained, current on his vaccinations, micro chipped and is heart worm negative. His adoption fee is $100+tax. There is no waiting on a transport as Ryu is a Wisconsin dog! If the meeting goes well, he can go home the same day. All dog adoptions come with a leash, collar, toys and 3 days of food. The adopter is given copies of all medical records. A dog license will be issued if the adopter lives in Portage County.
