Some dogs make an impression right away. I tend to be one of those.<br/><br/>I'm Rusty, and I arrived at Haven Pet Center on January 5, 2025. Since then, the team here has gotten to know me pretty well, and I've become a favorite for a reason.<br/><br/>With people, I'm affectionate, easygoing, and happy to be around. I enjoy attention, I'm great to walk on leash, and I settle in quickly when I'm with someone. I'm the kind of dog that's just nice to spend time with.<br/><br/>Out in the yard, I've got a playful side. I enjoy interacting with other dogs, exploring, and staying active. I'm social and can have a great time, especially when the energy matches mine.<br/><br/>Like a lot of playful dogs, I can get a little carried away if things get too exciting, especially around smaller dogs. When that happens, I do best with someone who can step in, guide me, and help me settle back down. The good news is, I respond well and get right back on track.<br/><br/>Overall, I'm a well-rounded dog who enjoys people, play, and being part of what's going on.
