Rusty

Meet Rusty. 💔

Rusty is a 24-week-old Rottweiler mix who came to us as a stray. He's just a baby, yet somehow he already knows what it feels like to be lost and unsure of where he belongs.

Rusty is a very shy puppy. The world can feel overwhelming to him, and he needs someone who will be patient while he learns that he is finally safe. But once he feels comfortable, Rusty shows his sweet side -- he is a cuddly, gentle boy who just wants to be close to someone he can trust.

He may need a little extra time to come out of his shell, but we know there is so much love waiting inside this scared little puppy. He deserves someone who will never give up on him, who will sit beside him, earn his trust, and show him that he is worthy of being loved.

Rusty is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home. 🐾

All Rusty needs is a family willing to give him the patience he has never had and the love he has always deserved.

Please don't let this shy little boy grow up wondering why nobody chose him. Choose Rusty. Give him a home. Give him a chance. Give him the love he's been waiting for. ❤️‍🩹Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.

Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.

Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).

For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. Join us on Facebook at
https://www.facebook.com/moaspets. It's a great way to stay up to the minute on the furry 4 legged friends we have looking for a loving forever home.
We are located at:
1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd
Danielsville, GA 30633
706-795-2868

NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption.
If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
