Rusty's Story

This liter was surrended to a kill shelter in Texas, why we don't know. The owner didn't want to be bothered, we could assume. But we couldn't allow them to die for no reason. We had our rescue partner grab them and now they are healthy to travel. Yes they were a little skinny when they first came into the rescue.

Rusty is here in a foster home in New England!

This handsome pup is a 4-month-old Dachshund mix with a birthday of February 11, 2026. He currently weighs about 16 pounds and has just made the journey from Texas to begin his new chapter.

He is a sweet, snuggly and playful puppy. Gets along great with other dogs and is crate trained.

He is fixed, up to date on vaccinations, on preventatives and microchipped.

If you love littles then please apply www.fromalonealonetohomeresuce.org
