Our adoptable pets are examined by a veterinary technician, tested for heartworm disease (dogs) and FELV (cats), given their vaccine booster(s), and treated for fleas. Monetary Donations are much appreciated! Click here to complete an adoption application: For Dogs: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SLBY/Dog For Cats: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SLBY/Cat To meet a pet: Contact Animal Control (217) 774-4932 or the Shelbyville Police Dept (217) 774-2141 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri. or email jpstandrfr@yahoo.com to make an appointment. **Adopter will sign a contract to spay/neuter, microchip and rabies vaccine, if not already completed. Adopter will send proof back from your vet within 30 days of adoption, that you have complied with the contract.***
