Meet Rupert! <br/><br/>Rupert is a 3.5-month-old Plott Hound mix with a heart full of love and a personality much bigger than his size! This little guy is a true Mighty Mouse, confident, vocal, and absolutely convinced he's the one in charge of everyone around him. <br/><br/>Rupert loves romping around with his siblings, investigating anything new, and making sure everyone knows his opinion. While he may think he's running the show, the truth is that Leslie is the real boss of the pack! <br/><br/>When he's not busy supervising his siblings, Rupert enjoys settling in for well-earned snuggles and soaking up attention from his people. His playful, curious spirit and larger-than-life personality make him impossible not to love. Rupert has been doing very well with learning potty training, kennel training, and learning commands from his amazing foster home! This smarty pants already knows 'sit,' 'down,' does very well on a leash, and is learning how to socialize with new dogs and people. <br/><br/>This sweet boy is ready to find a forever home where he can grow, learn, and continue being the adorable little leader he believes he is. Could Rupert be the missing piece of your family? <br/><br/>The adoption fee is $450 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.<br/><br/> Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. <br/><br/>*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.
