Rupert is a 7-year-old Husky coming in at 77 pounds of fluff, muscle, and heart. He was brought to our shelter as a stray in March 2025 with no microchip, no lost report and no history. Over the course of 17 months, we have learned that Rupert walks great on a leash, respects your space, loves car rides, is highly observant, a great sniffer, incredibly intelligent and eager to learn tricks.<br/><br/>Rupert is looking for an adopter who believes trust equals success - who views kindness and adaptability as the backbones of trust. An adopter who looks in those big blue eyes, determined to make his golden years GOLD.<br/><br/>We recommend Rupert goes to a home with no other pets, no kids, and plenty of personal space. More so, we hope Rupert goes home with an adopter who looks at his transition from a kennel space into a home as a fruitful and rewarding journey.
