Rune is a 3-year-old, 15 lb Poodle mix with soft curls and an endearing, sensitive personality. He’s currently sporting a short summer cut, but his beautiful curly coat will grow back in and will require regular grooming to keep him looking his best.<br/><br/>We’ve been getting to know Rune, and this sweet boy has already shown us what a loving little companion he is. He loves head scratches and belly rubs and has the cutest habit of popping up onto his hind legs when he’s hoping for some extra attention!<br/><br/>Rune absolutely lights up around his foster family’s daughter. From their very first introduction, he was excited to see her, and now his whole demeanor changes when she walks into the room. Kids are definitely a yes for Rune!<br/>He is more cautious around men and can be hesitant about coming inside the house, so his foster family has been working with him using patience and positive reinforcement. He’ll do best with a family willing to give him a little time and encouragement as he continues building his confidence.<br/><br/>Even while he’s still getting to know you, Rune wants to be your little shadow. He’ll happily follow you from room to room and prefers being close to his people rather than left on his own.<br/><br/>Rune is a tender-hearted, affectionate little guy who is looking for a family that will give him the reassurance, companionship, and love he craves.
