-In Foster - DOB: 12/1/2023 Breed: Pyrenees Mix Personality: Rufus is a sweet, anxious boy who struggles in busy kennel environments. After moving him to a quieter space, he settled in, stopped destroying his kennel, and was finally able to relax and sleep. This tells us Rufus does best in calm, low-traffic environments. Rufus needs a patient foster or adopter who will give him time to build trust. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly cuddly, goofy, and loving. He’s been through a lot, and stability and consistency will make all the difference for him. If you can offer Rufus a quiet home or even some extra one-on-one time, you could change his world. Rufus is currently in coster, please call the shelter to coordinate a meeting!

All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. All adoptable dogs are heartworm tested, dewormed, given flea/tick/heartworm preventative and fully vaccinated (Includes: Bordetella, DAPP/L4+Canine Coronavirus, and Rabies). All adoptable cats are FIV, FeLV, and feline heartworm tested, dewormed, given flea/tick/heartworm preventative and fully vaccinated (Includes: FVRCP and Rabies).
