Meet Rufus

Hi. I'm Rufus. I think a lot of things are scary and I need a safe space to cuddle and get comfortable. When you first come and meet me we will have to go slow until I can get to know you better. Once I am comfortable, I am a big, lovable baby. I will crawl into your lap and snuggle. I love to play with tennis balls too. I came in as a stray so the shelter staff doesn't know about my history with children, cats, or other dogs. I have been polite to other dogs while I have been here at the shelter. I really appreciate soft places to lay down like beds and blankets. The shelter staff thinks it would be best for me to go to a home without children. If you have another dog, I would have to meet them first before you could take me home.
