Rue's Story

Rue is your typical puppy. She loves to play and cuddle. Her ideal home would be where someone was home part of the day to help her with potty training, when old enough leash training and how to be a valued family member. You will patience and the energy to keep up with a puppy.<br/><br/>Due to her being so tiny we will only consider applications with children 10 yrs or older.<br/><br/>Due to her small size she will need multiple potty breaks during the day as well as eating 3 meals a day to help her gain weight.

Furry Tales Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Adopters must be 21+ years old. ALL members of the household must agree on the adoption. We do NOT allow adoptions to be surprises for others. Out of state adoptions are ALLOWED. We currently adopt to homes located in PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA, WV, OH, CT, NH and NY. At this time we do not adopt out to homes who are over ~200-250 miles from Blue Bell, PA 19422, but may make exceptions on a case by case basis. Potential adopters must submit an initial application that will be followed up by a phone interview and home check. We call two personal non-family references that are to be listed on the application. If there are any current pets in the home we will call your veterinarian as well to ensure all pets are up to date on state required vaccines and are spayed/neutered (if applicable). If all goes well we have a detailed adoption contract that must be thoroughly read, completed, and signed by the adopter. Our process tends to move fairly QUICKLY and adoption can be as quick as just a few hours after submitting an application up to a week or more. We do NOT hold pets.
