Meet Rudy

Meet Rudy. Rudy was a full time outdoor dog and came to GSDRI via owner surrender. He is 6-7 years old and is quite the gem. Rudy easily adjusted to being an indoor dog and is good at alerting you if anyone shows up at the house. He loves his comfy dog bed and snuggling on the couch. Rudy listens quite well in the house, and we are still working on leash training and some manners. He is crate trained but really prefers being close to his humans. Rudy has been great with all the humans he has met, including a two year old child. He does still like to do some jumping and is big and strong Rudy has been good with most dogs, big and small. This boy loves to play and loves to cuddle. He would be fine as an only dog getting all the attention, or with one other dog sibling who is willing to show him the ropes. If you are looking for a diamond in the rough to enjoy the holidays with, Rudy is your guy!
