Ruckus's Story
FAST FACTS:
* 6 months old & 38lbs
* Dog-friendly
* Older children (10+) preferred
* Working on potty-training
* Working on crate-training
* Goofy, adventurous, expressive

Ruckus is a playful, silly, rambunctious guy who somehow manages to live up to his name very well. This Southern Illinois boy is a suspected Catahoula Leopard mix with gorgeous brindle coloring and one very special feature: heterochromia (two different-colored eyes)!

Ruckus is a total people-lover who is always ready for attention, a walk, a game of tug, or some quality time with a good chew bone. He’s also dog-friendly and LOVES to play—sometimes with a little more enthusiasm than his canine friends might appreciate! A confident dog who enjoys rough-and-tumble play would be his ideal match.

This guy is also an excellent little athlete. He’s a great walker and would make a fantastic jogging, hiking, or adventure buddy for an active family. He has plenty of puppy energy and is still working on his manners, so his future family should be ready for some training, structure, patience, and lots of opportunities to burn off that energy.

Ruckus can be jumpy, so older kids would be best to make sure his enthusiasm doesn't accidentally knock anyone over. And true to his breed (and his name), he can be pretty barky, talkative, whiny, and wonderfully expressive. If you appreciate a dog who has thoughts and isn't shy about sharing them, Ruckus has you covered.

He's also still working on potty-training and crate-training and will do best with someone who is home often and willing to put in the time and consistency that comes with raising a puppy. He's going to need a little work—but he's also going to give his family SO much in return.

Ruckus is playful, goofy, loyal, affectionate, and full of personality. He's looking for an active family who is ready to embrace the chaos, laugh at the antics, and help this handsome boy grow into the amazing adult dog we know he can be.

If interested in adopting me please fill out an application on our website at www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org; please make sure you fill in every required field/question or your submission will not go through.
