Ruby's Story

Meet Ruby

Ruby is a 3 year old Rat Terrier mix. She is ready to find her furever family!

Ruby is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, and is spayed. She came to us with Dexter. Now she is ready for a fresh start in a home of her own! She is heartworm positive but her treatment has been started and will be provided by WHS until she tests negative. Ruby would do best in a home with at least one other dog as she does have anxiety.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application on our website, warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. We are open Wed-Thu 12-7 and Fri-Sun 12-4 if you'd like to come visit!

(Follow her for a chance to win a FREE portrait photoshoot!)

Want to get early access to adoptable pets, seeing them before they're posted on Facebook? Warrick Humane Society's Adoption Policy
The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets. We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.
