Ruby's Story

🐾Ruby is a sweet dog who struggles with a fear of people, stemming from a difficult past.

🐾She needs time to feel at ease around new faces, often opting to hide when she feels scared.

Despite her fears, Ruby longs for love and companionship, but patience is key.

She is quite the runner 🏃‍♀️‍➡️ and can dart away quickly if given the chance, so a secure, fenced yard is essential for her safety.

Ruby is approximately 5 years old Dachshund mix. 20 lbs., up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.

She gets along well with other dogs and cats, and while she is housebroken and crate trained, she doesn't necessarily require a crate.

Ruby is looking for a caring individual who understands her needs and is willing to invest the time it takes for her to feel comfortable.

Please check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/

Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:

1.
