Ruby

Ruby is a beautiful girl with classic Shepherd coloring who seems to look more like her mama, Raven, every day! At approximately 4.5–5 months old and 35 lbs, she is growing into a gorgeous young dog with a sweet face and an even sweeter personality.

Ruby is a very gentle, easygoing girl who is as friendly as they come. She has a quieter nature and absolutely LOVES to snuggle! If you’re looking for a puppy who enjoys being close to her people, soaking up affection and settling in for some cuddle time, Ruby might just be your girl.

Ruby and her six siblings were rescued in mid-July after being found abandoned off Rockwell Road with their mama, Raven. Thankfully, they were brought into rescue and have been growing up safely in foster care.

Ruby appears to be a Shepherd/Lab-type mix, although her exact breed makeup is unknown. Her mama, Raven, appears to be a German Shepherd mix with an adorable scruffy coat, so there may be a few other breeds hiding in their DNA, too! We expect Ruby to be a medium-to-large dog when fully grown.

She has been raised around other dogs, cats and children and has done well with all of them. Ruby has had plenty of positive socialization and is getting a wonderful start to life in a family environment.

Ruby has completed all her veterinary care and is officially ready for adoption! She has been spayed, received her age-appropriate vaccines, including (4) DHPP, Bordetella and rabies, and is microchipped. She has also been dewormed, had a negative fecal test, received her veterinary clearance and is current on monthly flea, tick, heartworm and parasite preventatives.

Now, all that’s missing is a family of her own!

Interested in adopting Ruby?

Adoption application:
https://airtable.com/appklteyg5w2e0fmu/shrY8RxQc1KxQYCuv

Ruby is fostered in and will be adopted from Delaware County, PA.
