Ruby's Story

Ruby is the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying. This approximately 4-year-old bully mix has been through more than her fair share, coming to us after being confiscated from a home with many other dogs where she was clearly bred repeatedly. Her past shows in her body-her nipples hang low from raising litter after litter-but her spirit? Completely unshaken.

Ruby is happy, goofy, and full of life. She greets each day (and every person she meets) with a wagging tail and an infectious joy that's impossible to ignore. Despite everything she's been through, she chooses to be soft, silly, and loving-and that says everything about who she is.

She has previously done well with other dogs and cats, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet home. Ruby hasn't been formally kid-tested, but due to her playful, sometimes mouthy nature when she gets excited, she would likely do best with older kids who can handle her enthusiasm and help guide her with gentle boundaries.

At her core, Ruby is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be loved for who she is-not for what she can provide. She's ready to leave her past behind and finally be someone's cherished companion.

If you're looking for a dog who will bring laughter, love, and a whole lot of personality into your life, Ruby is waiting to meet you.

All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
