Ruby's Story

Ruby is a sweet, affectionate , shy and derpy little Shepard. She was surrendered to a high kill shelter in CA with her sister. After getting split up from her sister Ruby has been struggling to form close relationships with other dogs, BUT despite how shy and fearful she is, she has warmed up to some of the dogs here. Ruby is a beautiful Shepard and is likely an unwanted littermate by a backyard breeder in CA. When she first got here she was terrified and everything. I’m so proud to say that she is making more and more progress everyday and she would truly benefit from a human that could show her that the world is not a scary place where she need to make herself small, but an exciting and loving place where she can learn to walk with her head up high. 🥹
