She had been seen by many individuals and many had tried to help her but she wouldn't let anyone close to her. Ruby has been a mother many times and some of her puppies have been rescued. After one of her litter of pups died, our rescue efforts turned to trapping her. After several days, she was caught and the process of vetting and building trust began.<br/><br/>Due to abandonment and living wild alone for so long it will be a challenge to gain her trust. She has been able to trust several of the volunteers at the shelter. We are still looking for that very special home and family that is willing to put in the time to establish the trust and gain the love of Ruby. She is the best "all around" dog at the shelter! She gets along well with all the other dogs.
