Ruby's Story

Ruby.
This beautiful girl is available to a loving home and we just know she will make the right family very happy. We took her in to our home shortly before Christmas, and we've gotten to know her and her needs and what type of family she will do best with.
What we know so far.
Ruby is a super nice girl. Looks to be purebred. She showed up at a local farm and was never claimed, and was not microchipped. She has gained weight nicely since being here, and her coat is beautiful . We guess her age to be approximately 4-5 years. I initially thought she was very young, as she acts puppyish. She is very friendly, and loves people. Ive had her in a group of other friendly dogs and she does well in that group. She will assume the role of dominant dog, but we have never had any issues with her. She did not initially want to go in a crate, but I feed her meals in there and now she goes in fine with just a treat and is quiet while crated. She is not a blanket chewer and loves her big bed in her crate. She was clearly an indoor dog, because she will go out and do her business and then want in. If outside too long, she lets me know by barking at the door. Likes to be near me when Im in the yard. No anxiety issues, just likes her people. She knows sit, and could easily learn more commands, as shes super smart.
Ive not had her around cats, aside from meeting our outside kitty through the fence.
Ruby is fully vetted and her adoption fee reflects that. Shes going to be a lovely companion for someone. Honestly, I would love to see her as an only dog with an outdoorsy person getting all the attention and adventures.
Message me if interested in an application. Our email is not working so please TEXT Jen at 320-444-1103
Adoption fee $500 to approved home.
